Production Manager

          Key Responsibilities :
1. Production Planning and Scheduling
- Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demand.
 - Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for efficient planning.
 - Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
 
2. Productivity Improvement
- Identify and implement strategies to boost efficiency and yield.
 - Analyze processes to eliminate bottlenecks and leverage automation.
 
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Collaborate with QA to uphold food safety and quality standards.
 - Conduct inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
 - Stay updated on food safety regulations and best practices.
 
4. Staff Management
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff.
 - Provide performance feedback and maintain a positive work environment.
 
5. Inventory and Stock Management
- Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
 - Implement controls to minimize waste and optimize costs.
 
6. Cost Effectiveness
- Develop strategies to reduce production costs and enhance profitability.
 - Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvement.
 
7. Equipment Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance and repair with relevant teams and vendors.
 - Ensure regular maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
 
Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology or a related field.
 - 8+ years of experience in food production management.
 - Strong understanding of food safety and quality control standards.
 - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 - Ability to lead and motivate a team.
 - Good collaboration and communication both internal and external relevant parties
 - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
 - Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management.
